Allium cepa
A somewhat flattened onion with a beautiful red colour and a strong flavour. This is a relatively high-yield onion that also stores well. 'Red Baron' is a versatile variety since it is also suitable for use as a bunching onion.

Sow seeds from February in modules or direct outside in rows 30cm apart.
Growing instructions
Plant modules outside in April at distance of 30x10cm. Thin direct sown plants to 10 cm apart.
