Lactuca sativa var. crispa
A large red arrowhead leaf lettuce. The leaves form an upright rosette. Suitable for spring, summer and autumn cultivation.
Sowing instructions
Sow seeds from February in seed trays and place in light at a temperature of 18°c. Sow in situ from mid April and thin to 25cm between plants.
Growing instructions
Transfer seedlings into modules or pots and transplant into cold frame greenhouse or outdoors a few weeks later. Lettuce requires a fertile moist soil. Planting distance 25x25cm.
