Lactuca sativa var. crispa
Heirloom variety with tasty, large and crunchy leaves. Can be used as a cut and come again type.
Sowing instructions
Sow seeds from February in seed trays and place in light at a temperature of 18°c. Sow in situ from mid April and thin to 25cm between plants.
Growing instructions
Transfer seedlings into modules or pots and transplant into cold frame greenhouse or outdoors a few weeks later. Lettuce requires a fertile moist soil. Planting distance 30 x 25 cm.
