Seed Co-operative COMMUNITY SHARE OFFER launch

Please come to the Biodynamic Conference so you can join us for the launch of our Community Share Offer.

Starting at 8pm.  Neil Munro, Heritage Seed Library; Ute Kirschgasser, Biodynamic plant breeder; and, Liz Hosken, Gaia Foundation will give a UK, european and global perspective of the importance of seed diversity and describe how the Seed Co-operative’s role is crucial to sustainable farming in the UK.

This will be followed by a VERY SPECIAL pre-release screening of SEED: the untold story.  A multi-award winning new feature-length documentary from the creators of Queen of the Sun: What are the Bees Telling Us? and The Real Dirt on Farmer JohnSEED follows passionate seed keepers working to protect our 12,000-year old food legacy.  The film examines issues surrounding the loss of seed diversity, climate change, pesticides, GMO labeling, and the patenting and corporate takeover of seeds and food. SEED features Vandana Shiva,  Dr. Jane Goodall, Andrew Kimbrell and Winona LaDuke.

SEED is executive produced by Marisa Tomei, Marc Turtletaub (Little Miss Sunshine), and Phil Fairclough (Grizzly Man, Cave of Forgotten Dreams).
